Project ABLE Lobby Day is less than one week away!

It is important that we have a large turnout on that day, to show support for HIV/AIDS funding!

The Governor plans to release his budget on Jan. 27 – the day before Lobby Day. It is likely that HIV/AIDS funding will be cut in the Governor’s budget proposal for FY ‘11, but we will not know by how much until it is released.

The January 28th Lobby Day kicks off our budget campaign directed at the legislature.  It is critical that you all come to the state house that day, to tell the legislature that HIV/AIDS must not sustain more budget cuts!

We are gathering at the Grand Staircase (on the second floor) NOT in Nurses Hall where we have had the event in past years. This is a larger space to fill, making a stronger turnout even more important.

The event is from 12 to 2 pm and there will be a buffet lunch. This time is later  than in the past.  Come during your lunch hour! Get your colleagues to join you. Reach out to consumers and ask them to come!

Join Us at the State House on January 28, 2010!
Maintain Critical HIV/AIDS Funding!
