E.C. Coffee Roast
Tapestry Health and Dean's Beans have teamed up to create a new coffee: Tapestry E.C. Roast (Emergency Caffeine)! Proceeds from this dark, sumptuous blend will go to Tapestry and the Women's Development Committee of the Pangoa Coffee Cooperative in San Martin de Pangoa in Peru.
Along with its wonderful taste, our coffee is 100% organic, fair trade, kosher, and roasted locally in Orange, MA. Tapestry Health and Dean’s Beans hope to expand our community into a global network of physical and social wellbeing.
Located in the central Amazon rainforest of Peru, Dean’s Beans and the Pangoa Coffee Cooperative have worked together to promote women’s health and empowerment through microfinance and development initiatives since 2003. They have constructed new kitchens and latrines in the homes of coffee-growing families, supported the development of small agricultural businesses spearheaded by the women in the community, and provided educational opportunities to women and their families.
